I like 26 as an age quite a bit, it's a good age. I'm just [waves hand] emo about this whole aging thing. I'm not ready! I was going to have more done by now! Etc. Because I like to hold myself to impossible standards or something.
Hurray, music! And Mountain Goats, yes (I have a playlist called 'Long Day' - it's only got four songs on it, 'This Year' is one of them).
Let's see:
Grace Dominguez was the world's greatest (potential) supervillian. She was a genius, of course, fully versed in physics and chemistry and structural engineering by the time she was eight. She was charismatic, creative, hard working, and utterly ruthless.
Above all that, the thing that made her the best, was her practicality. You couldn't take over the world in third grade - you had to finish middle school, at least, and there were her parents to think about, and she still hadn't figured out a way around that pesky law of gravity.
But someday, someday soon, oh yes. She'd be unstoppable.
(oh shit, I think I just webcomic!bunnied myself.)
