Akira has gorgeous hair in this one, especially when he's being dramatic about taking that tutoring job!

I think that he's drawn to look older when he's playing go, like in the 4-way match,


but younger and cuter in more relaxed situations like in the chap 71 title you mention.

Maybe not so much 'older' as 'very intense' - the event organizers comment on it - which in turn makes him look... older, heh. More mature.
