New Fall shows proving unpromising

Tried watching the first episode of the Charlie's Angels reboot, but it was bad before they killed off the Latina character. 8 minutes in! Terrible, terrible acting while the other two angels grieve!

I've moved on to Terra Nova, where 22nd century people dress exactly the same as 21st century people.

And I found Terra Nova pretty boring? What did you think?

Loveless, yes! Also the terrible acting, but there was no love, no cleverness, no panache. I'm a little bitter.

Terra Nova is 100% cliche and has terrible world building, but I'm a sucker for the premise. And it's pretty good about the ladies! I'll give it another episode or two, see if it picks up.

OT, but: Calling the Delicious developers "ADD-addled" is horribly ableist, that's not just me seeing things, right? Read it yesterday in a reaction post, and ... well my reaction wasn't good.

And oh, I remembered it slightly incorrectly, they're talking about the target demographic being the "20something ADD-addled hipster crowd whose idea of "content discovery" is aimlessly clicking on images all day."

And yet, still ableist.

No kidding. Ugh, it's almost worse than what you'd remembered - now it's just a casual slur.

But speaking of TV - are you watching Person of Interest? I'm not sure if I like it, but I'm shipping Reese/Finch in a ridiculous fashion. Even through they both speak in monotone.

Yes. YESSS. I watched the first episode today, and I reeeeaaalllly want fic now. I have episode two and three lined up, and obviously Finch knows everything about Reese, and now Reese pretty much has to find out more about him, and oh, the potential.

\o/ I'm half-way through the second episode and there's perfect setup for everybody-thinks-they're-dating/fake boyfriends. The show's like an oldschool slash trope goldmine.

Oh, I see I'll have to bump up episode two on my list. Not past Merlin though. ;)

Oh fake boyfriends. Why do I love that trope so much? Most tropes, in fact. Undercover in a gay club. OH, there could be some D/S. Suits fandom has been such a treasure trove for that, ha.
