I'm trying to organize my blog and tumblr feeds so that I actually read them - my current solution is setting the Morning Coffee Firefox add-on to show me my DW rlist, LJ flist, Google Reader and Tumblr dashboard every morning and then restructuring the shit out of all four. Down with redundancy!

And I figure heck, while I've got these links pulled up, might as well share them.

I'm still figuring this tumblr thing out, all I'm following right now are Microagressions, Clients From Hell, and a couple friends. Anybody have recs? Fashion, art, music, social issues, etc, it's all good.

And while we're sharing, please link your favorite blogs and news sites too! More sources of information = best thing. And my blogroll looks long but not nearly long enough.

FWD (feminism & disablity)
Native Appropriations (anti-racism, focusing on Native Americans & appropriation)
Questioning Transphobia (feminism & transgender issues, mainly from a trans women perspective)
The Rotund (fat activism)

Other than that, my google reader is mostly webcomics and humor sites like Damn You Autocorrect.

On tumblr, I am not following a ton of stuff yet, but these are ones I really like:

Art Love (beautiful art of all sorts)
Geek Art (fanart of the traditional western geek guy sort, ie comics, video games, Star Trek, Star Wars)
Privilege Denying Dude (d, does he need an introduction? Social justice in macro form)
Fuck Yeah FTMs (what it says on the tin; the main hub of the tumblr ftm community)
Fuck Yeah FTMs of Color (same, but obvs focusing on POC)
Queer Secrets (most will make your rage; most are made by teenagers; still, I can't stop reading)
Fuck Yeah Fat Positive (fat activism)
Sex Is Not the Enemy (NSFW photos & sex positive writings; tries to be fairly diverse though still ends up being mostly young thin white folks)
Stuff That Did Not Make Me Trans (self-explanatory?)
Fuck Yeah Body Positive (body positivity in general, not just for fat folks)
XX Boy (smart trans dude writes a lot of stuff I agree with, mainly about trans (ftm) issues)

XD It's not easy! I do a lot of skimming (especially with the news feeds) and usually have a internet-enabled device at hand and I still miss stuff - that's why I'm trying to reorganize my feeds/lists.

There's always more information out there, though. It makes me twitchy, sometimes :/

Almost all of the tumblrs I'm following are people I already know or fannish tumblrs in fandoms I don't think we share. But here's a few:

Muslims Wearing This that debunks the idea of "Muslim garb".
Nerdy Cookies and cupcakes, and cakes and...
Reasong with Vampires a blog that breaks down exactly how horrible the Twilight series is mostly from a writing perspective.
Hungover Owls
Bookshelves which consists of mainly pictures.
I Love Charts which is mostly user submitted so there are hits and misses but some are amazing.
Better Book Titles replaces titles of books with more accurate (and funnier) titles.
LGBT Laughs which can also be hit and miss.
Comically Vintage posts single panels out of old comics, often hilariously out of context.
Clear Science lays out simple explanations for scientific concepts.
The World We Live In gorgeous shots around the world.
