Dear Yuletide Writer (2010)

effexFirstly - Hi! Hello! I'm really excited about Yuletide and finally getting to write this letter, thank you so much for participating! And for writing me a story!
Secondly - Feel free to ignore the following. I'll be happiest with a story you were happy to write, please go where ever inspiration takes you.
That said, I like stories with: adventure, happy endings, explosions, romance, crossovers, mad science, banter, friendships, mountains, oceans, well characterized characters (heh), animals, shenanigans, magic, families, libraries, detailed (and accurate) settings, food, artists, swearing, first times, first times that *don't* involve penetration, frottage, superpowers, spaceships, explorations of sexuality and gender and race and culture and politics and privilege, plots that make me think, or cry, or laugh, or (best of all) all three.
I prefer stories that don't have: sad/dark/depressing/unresolved endings, mpreg, soul-bonds/destined lovers, character bashing, slavery, petnames not taken from canon, romance without development, unexamined privilege, excessive emo, sex without preparation/protection, 'perfect' sex (coming at the same time, please no) kinks involving bodily fluids, and the word 'cum,' *ever* (unless, idk, someone's reading email spam).
I'm very much a slash fan but I've chosen fandoms where slash, gen, or het would also make me happy so, please, have at. I'm comfortable with any level of sexual explicitness and most kinks.

Right! On to the fandoms:
1) Hayate x Blade
The characters: Amachi Hitsugi, Isuzu Inugami, Miyamoto Shizuku and/or Momoka Kibi
The prompt: I love the quirky fluffy action-y goodness of this series, I love the humor, I *adore* the characters. What I really want is quirky fluffy action-y romance, either Momo/Isuzu (preferably aged up) or Hitsugi/Shizuku (or both!). Quirky fluffy action-y gen is fine if you're not up for romance.
The details: Hayate x Blade is my favorite manga series, hands down. I love the characters, the humor, the pacing, the art, the hijinks, the storytelling...everything. And out of all the potential pairings I love Momo/Isuzu the most - their dynamic, Isuzu's crush, Momo's Momoness. I'd love (wow, I'm saying 'love' a lot) to read about their ridiculous love story, or a slice of life as adults, or fighting demons or other sword bearers and generally being their ridiculous, kickass selves. Alternatively, if they're not working for you, I'd like to know more about Hitsugi and Shizuku - growing up together, their first year at school, their future, how Hitsugi changes the law so they can get married...anything you want to tell me.
Use as many or as few of the other characters as you want, set it anywhere inside or outside of the current canon, have as much or as little magic and mythology as you like (I almost suggested a crossover with Clamp Campus Detectives or some other school manga but, hahaha, the Hayate girls in the X-verse, heheheheheHAHAHA. Ahem).
2) Dostana
The characters: Kunal Chauhan, Sameer Acharya and/or Neha Melwani
The prompt: I'd love to see: Kunal and Sam actually getting together, more family hijinks, more of Kunal, Sam and Neha hanging out and being BFFs, Kunal and Sam growing as people, an exploration of sexuality, identity, coming out (to yourself) and/or the Miami queer community.
The details: I am immensely fond of Kunal and Sam (even though they're often assholes) and Neha and Veer and Abhi AND SAM'S MOM <3 and everyone, basically. I love Kunal and Sam's dynamic and Kunal and Sam and Neha's dynamic and how AMAZINGLY GAY the whole movie is. I want to see Kunal and Sam in love and dealing with being in love and negotiating this strange/familiar relationship. I want to see Neha and Abhi get married, or a group outing to the beach or the Everglades or Disney World, or Diwali in Miami, or New Year's, or Pride. Anything.
Note one: I don't speak Hindi, but I'd be more than happy to have it used in the fic. I'm having a hard time imagining a story without it.
Note two: Dostana is also my safety fandom! If you've matched to one of my other requests and aren't feeling it, give Dostana a try. It's a movie, it's on Netflix instaplay (and, you know. Other places), it's a guaranteed good time.
3) Community
The characters: Abed Nadir, Troy Barnes, Shirley Bennett, and/or Ben Chang
The prompt: I'd love Abed and Troy as boyfriends (or BFFs), how they learn to negotiate a lasting relationship. Or more of Shirley's home life, her kids, her family, and her friendships outside of school. Or to see Ben as a father, in a relationship with Shirley or not, and the family they build together. Or all of the above :D
The details: This prompt started out all Troy and Abed: Boyfriends, but somewhere along the way I got distracted by Ben and Shirley and the kind of family they might put together. I'm genuinely fond of all four (and the other characters as well), so whichever works best for you! Or something else entirely, like how they become circus performers for a day or when Shirley brings her kids to school or Abed's first big movie or Troy's career in dance or Ben's favorite trip to Mexico. It's all good.
My only note: I don't like the way this season has been treating Ben (or the dean, really). Please, if you write him, make him more than the butt of the joke.
4) Sanctuary
The characters: Henry Foss, Bigfoot (Sanctuary) and/or Kate Freelander
The prompt: What I *really* want from this fandom is a silly, foofy, epic romance for Henry and Bigfoot (they went to Comic-Con together, love doesn't get any truer than that). With Kate right there, being awesome. I will also take a silly, foofy, Henry, Bigfoot, and Kate buddy!fic (where they all get to be awesome) if you're not feeling up to the romance.
The details: I loved Sanctuary when it was a terrible show, I loved it while it slowly got better throughout season two and I *adore* it now. I love the idea of the Sanctuary Network (though I wish we got to see more of the day to day), I love how global it is, I the characters and the family they've created. Feel free to use as many or as few of the other characters - Will, Helen, Tesla, Ravi, Declan, etc - as you want.
I'm a big Henry/Bigfoot shipper - the face touching, the emotional connection, the surfing and Comic-Con trips - but it seems the Internet is not with me on this. There is no fic! Tragedy! So please, if you can, tell me about Comic-Con or the fallout from Bigfoot playing dead or cultural differences or the age difference or the wonder of finding love in unexpected places. And have Kate be in there too (not just as a plot device or facilitator) because she's awesome. If you need a gen alternative, maybe some Kate-centric case fic? Especially something that tells us more about the abnormals that live in the Sanctuary. Or backstory for any of them, or a rare quiet day, or a prank war (With Will as the hapless victim of both sides?), or anything you'd like.
