That obnoxious councillor who hates to lose.



And someone rather nicer: Hon Suyong



And suddenly Japanese professional go gets put in the international perspective.

I liked, in the manga, how the arguing between Hikaru and Suyong was translated by one of the adults who looks rather amused.

That councilman is horrid, but I guess he's what real live Go pros run into all the time.

I'm looking forward to seeing Hon-kun again!
