[nods] That song (and What's This Feeling, and Defying Gravity) are what made me wonder. It's a beautiful soundtrack.
It's been a while since I read the first couple Hollows books (I think I got up to... three? ish?), but what really stood out for me was the intense, deliberate UST and Rachel's 'but I'm straight!' protests (well, and her desire not to fall under the sway of a powerful vampire, but that's more understandable. And fic fodder). I think my mom's got all of them, I should do a reread.
