We DID decide how Jafar fits in! He's the former Prime Minister of Agrabah, and tried to maneuver the Emir into marrying Jasmine to him! He's a creepy bad-touch kind of dude, too. I bet Raja was disappointed she never got the chance to break his wrist like she was planning. (Or maybe she did, in the denouement of that episode?) Perhaps her dad was persuaded to send her to DC more easily after that whole unfortunate business.
