There was a long paragraph here about me being picky/cranky about movies. We're going to skip it! Except for this part: "
nepenthe would say 'Tank Girl' and 'Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow' belong on this [bad movies that Effex likes] list. She would be wrong, wrong, wrong, because they are awesome." Because it is true.
Anyway! Monday night I watched Night at the Museum 2: Battle for the Smithsonian. It was terrible, and it filled me with glee. Glee.
( Let me tell you about it. )
IN OTHER NEWS:
John Barrowman wants the Captain America role. The idea intrigues me, and also makes me cry with laughter.
Caught episode 2 of Leverage, finally, which was pretty sweet. Eliot was fantastic, I am in awe of Christian Kane all over again (HIS OWN STUNTS). Have some links - LEVERAGE #202 "The Tap out Job" Post-game @ Kung Fu Monkey (aha, the folks talking about the Nebraskan inaccuracies reminded me eerily of my conversation with
cimorene about Iowa. Down to the butawesomeuniversity!!!111. Creepy.) and
dhobikikutti's My Big and Ranty Leverage Post.
ETA: This post took me an absurdly long time to write! I have now caught episode *3* of Leverage and it was also pretty sweet. I <3 my team.
Also saw 'Fast & Furious' last night (as opposed to 'The Fast & The Furious,' '2 Fast & 2 Furious,' or 'The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift.' What the hell, Universal Studios). Viewing inspired by a post someone (and I'll dig this up, I will, it's out there *somewhere*) made in which they suggested the fifth installment would be 'The Fast & The Furious: Dom and Brian Buy Curtains.' Which, yes. Yes they will. There's fic for this series, right?
