Do you know what kind of city Dallas is? The kind of city where you can't get a goddamn pizza at 12:30am on a Thursday. In Uptown. Papa Johns? Closed. Pizza Hut? Closed. Freaking Domino's? Closed.

Gonna step it up to the fancy places, see if anyone's kitchen is still open. Gayborhood pizzeria, don't fail me now...

[nods] Dallas is basically that way Monday - Thursday, with most things shutting down around 10ish. Which, I mean, people want to go home, I get that! But Dallas tries so hard to pretend it's a big city yet fails at big city things (like pizza after midnight. though the gayborhood pizza place did pull through, so that area gets to keep it's Cosmopolitan sticker).

You are definitely right about it being worse in a town that aspires to be a big city. My small town sits between two kind of major cities that I know are on their late night pizza game, my town is often left out of maps.
