Free DVDs and also some TV rambling

* First, awesome free stuff! I've got an extra copy of The Losers and the first Revolutionary Girl Utena dvd, anyone want 'em? You'd just need to cover shipping.
* I watched S1 of Happy Endings over the weekend, which was just good enough to make me wish it was better (rather than writing it off entirely) - the writing had some bright points and there was decent inter-personal stuff. Surprisingly good on the queer front - Max actually got romantic plotlines, though he never got an onscreen kiss, and his character was refreshingly fleshed out. It was not as good with the women and it's handling of race was just. Bad.
Also, why the hell did they air what were obviously (painfully) the second and third episodes as the tenth and eleventh?
* Almost done with S2 of Fringe! It continues to be entertaining and full of ~SCIENCE~ and I became ridiculously fond of everyone when I wasn't looking. Also, 'Unearthed' was a horrible Charlie!tease. I miss him a lot :(
* DOCTOR WHO! This season has terrible pacing, imo (seriously, what's going on), but I love it regardless. There's a post that I can't find, arg, that talks about 'A Good Man Goes to War as a repudiation of 10/RTD's Oncoming Storm badness which, yes. I want that, even if that's not where Moffett's going.
If the fans clamor loud enough, d'you think they'd give Madam Vastra and her girlfriend their own show? Or books? I'd settle for books.
* Tiger & Bunny is still the best (except for the criminal underuse of Fire Emblem).
