I turn (insert appalling number here) in 4 days, and I'm reciting "ain't nothin' but a number" ad nauseum.
a bit of background context for this that might make it dorkier, or just that much more embarrassing, or sweeter, take your pick: Cathy and I have had a totally impromptu, on-again off-again Arthur/Eames roleplay going for the last three months, in which Arthur and Eames more or less palled around Paris and flirted a lot and acted like assholes to each other and fell in love, and finally had their first kiss in the middle of Eames' flat, in the middle of a late summer rainfall, while Billy Holiday sang "You Go To My Head" in the background. It was lovely. :(
(And Paris just kept right on raining, because it's seen everything before.)
So now Eames is doing a job in Helsinki, and Arthur is visiting Cobb on a sheep farm in Scotland (IDK EITHER), and since they're dorks, they haven't actually talked about what happens next.
But while they've been away, Arthur sent Eames this song.
