The thing that always bothered me the most about 'Sleeping Beauty' was the way Aurora's mother was handled - she's there but gets no name (it's all 'Good King Stefan and his queen') and no voice. Obviously the way to fix this is to make her as amazing here as I could -> thus the casting as Meryl Streep. It doesn't get much more amazing then that.
