effex* I just got the three volumes of Justice League International in the mail and tore through them, thus upholding my fine personal tradition of reading/watching canon long after I get into the fandom. It is super entertaining and not at all depressing! Entertaining and non-depressing DCU, I missed you so much.
* Spiderman 4 has been cancelled and Sony is rebooting the franchise which, honestly. It's like Christmas all over again. If I'm very, very good, maybe they'll do the same for X-Men.

handyhunter are doing this thing where they recast Marvel characters with actors of color. It's pretty sweet!
* I need to get to the comic shop. I'm so behind. Woe.
* SPEAKING OF JLI and also awesome news: JLI's coming back! And Booster's title's getting a new writer! YES.
