effexI have the nagging sense that I'll run out of Subject Titles right quick. We may soon be reduced to standardization and dates.
Friday:

It's sparked by the flare up of anti-semitism on LJ - the comments on the Holocaust in particular ('move on,' 'quit whining,' etc) - and lays out in great detail why forgetting or downplaying our history, especially the violent/scary parts, is inherently destructive. Even if you're tired of the whole issue, or haven't heard anything, or think you don't care, go read it.
