If I, someone who enjoys wearing tshirts fitted to curvy bodies, wear the same size as a dude's Large (L), that makes me Extra, Extra, Extra Large (XXXL). Which I can't actually buy, seeing as 'girly' sizes only go up to XXL. Better hope that works!

[just received a package containing shirts for herself (XXL) and her brother (L) in which the L was a whole fucking size bigger. thanks, Threadless!]

Grrrrr. I remember this was a rant that someone who attends a lot of tech conferences made against their merch-purchasers on Geek Feminism; I wonder if there's a similar case to be made against the Cheap Geek Tees sites?

It's so ridiculous, too, because your target demographic is geeks! Geeks are often fat! How does it make any sense to not have larger shirts? I mean, I think it's ridiculous for any store/brand to not have larger sizes, but when it's snooty fashion brands, I at least understand that they think fat people are beneath them, but geeks are fat people!

What was that? Was that the sound of a consumer demanding size markings and selections /make sense/? Who would make such a demand? Why would we take [p=---hyuuuuuuuuuu (sorry, Ampersand got on the keyboard) a broad, measured approach to fit a spectrum of body sizes, then label them in a consistent fashion? It would only be reasonable and reasonable is sooooo ten years ago.
