Comics and Teen Wolf

Would anybody be interested in a round-robin comic comm? Where X number of people sign up every month to do X number of turns, etc. I did something similar when I was a wee internet newb and it was a lot of fun.
It wouldn't be right away because, ha. Things are busy. But maybe in January?
*--*--*
When I'm not thinking about Life, working, looking for work, reading The Omnivore's Dilemma or Taxi!: A Social History of the New York City Cabdriver (guess which character that's for), playing Minecraft or Kingdom of Loathing, or plotting out Marvel'verse*/Losers**/original stories, I'm thinking about Teen Wolf.
I've been wanting to write something horror-ish and Teen Wolf was almost there a couple of times (especially in the school episode), it seemed like a good fit. It's already got a spooky house and a creepy nurse, throw in a Sanctuary crossover (I do what I want***), add some Derek/Stiles (see previous parenthetical) and I'm golden!
Except I started running scenarios and Head!Derek was all WOAH WAIT NO HE'S 16 I'M 22 I CAN'T. Which, how much Clark/Lex have I read, he's not getting that from me.
Some of it's Stile's dad being the Sheriff + it's illegal to have sex with anyone under 18 in California, even if you are also under 18 (there's a lot of law-breaking in California). Most of it, though, is the way Kate fucked him up/over. Best as I can figure, Derek was 16 and Kate was 24-26 when she tricked him, used him, and murdered most of his family. He knows how much damage an adult can do to a teen and has a functioning moral compass (*cough*Lex*cough*), he's going to be noble about this shit. Even if he wants it, which Head!Derek does (the chemistry's the easy part).
Which gets me thinking about Derek. We don't know much about him, other then that his life sucks. He's 22 (well, he would've turned 23 yesterday), he has a Brooklyn driver's license which he's had since '09 (got it at 21? Hmmm. Took a while to get around to it or did they live somewhere else first?), he had a sister, an uncle, and 10 other family members, he believes in exercise, hygiene and hair maintenance even when he's living in the burned out shell of his former home.
We know that Kate was in Beacon Hills long enough for 'used to live here' and that she used Derek to find his pack. I see two ways that could go: 1) she and her team had a lock on a young werewolf up in the forest or something, but they didn't know who he was and couldn't track him home (Kate disguises herself as a camper/artist/forest ranger/etc, gains his trust, and gets his last name) or 2) the hunters suspect the werewolf pack is that family of 13 who lives in the big house in the woods, but isn't sure (Kate identity's Derek as the weakest link, gains his trust, and gets him to confess/slip up). Derek either knows she's from a hunter family from the start (likely, what with her last name. You know the packs keep track of those things) or she reveals it afterward to fuck with him. He knows she had something to do with his family's death, but the way he interacts with her in ep... 5? Makes me think he didn't know she's the leader/what she's capable of.
His house burns, his family is dead, the woman he loved betrayed him, and all he has left is his catatonic uncle and his sister (presumably older, but can't be more than 18). What happens then? At one point the Sheriff says the Hale house belongs to the county/state (?), so they lose that, possibly to pay for their uncle's medical bills? And funeral costs, etc. Who knows what the older Hales did/what kind of insurance they had. My best guess is that custody of Derek (and Laura, if she's underage) goes to out-of-state friends or human relatives (the other choice is foster care, which seems needlessly complicated). They eventually move to the east coast (and Brooklyn. No one looks for werewolves in Brooklyn, I guess).
Which is the long way of saying I don't know squat about Derek Hale. What he likes, what his job was (if he had one), did he finish high school, what his tattoo means, what's he like when he isn't being actively traumatized, etc. There's plenty of room to extrapolate/make shit up, though!
Getting back to my original point - I can't see immediately post series Derek in a relationship with anyone****, much less a 16 year old. Which is fine! Relationships take time to grow, you can know a person for years, etc, etc. It wouldn't be a problem if my haunted house idea wasn't set 1-2 weeks after ep 12. Something's gonna have to shift, arg.
* The one that starts with Loki landing in 1962 and meeting pre-movie Mystique and ends with Darcy being a mutant sent toscrew with keep an eye on Thor! The 5 Times Time Travelers Visited the Mansion fic! The inevitable Young Avengers spin-off of the 5 Times Time Travelers Visited the Mansion fic! The one where Darwin is all 'fuck y'all, I'm going to college' and ends up starting his own mutant movement/community!
** I've only got one, half written Losers fic and someday I'm going to finish it.
*** And it means less world-building for the vet and whoever the hunters called in. I took a good long look into that trap and stepped back.
**** This only applies to my own head canon, I'm plenty happy to read elsewise.
