1. Why do you dislike #11 so much?
   
   • Hmm... it’s not so much dislike as. I have this thing with Ranma where there’s canon, which is fine and I love it in all it’s cracked out glory (plus, it was one of my firsts, and you never forget, etc), but the version of Ranma that lives inside my head is different and much, much queerer. Like canon would be, if it weren’t, you know, itself. And in my version, Akane and Ranma are family, yes, always, but not romantically involved (Akane/Ukyo, Ranma/Ryoga, Shampoo/Mousse – the only fandom I had with three different pairing types before Bleach came a’knockin). And this makes very little sense, yeah, but if I keep talking about this it’s going to eat the meme.


2. Who do you know that ships #13?
   
   • Um.


3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3?
   
   • Everything else aside, the boys TOTALLY GET A HAPPY EVER AFTER (You hear me, Clamp?), with lots of snark and cooking and sex.


4. What is your favorite moment for #1?
   
   • EVERY SCENE WITH THE TWO OF THEM, EVER.


5. How long have you been following couple #6?
   
   • How old am I, again? Right, shit, that would make it eight years (some of us have attachment issues, apparently).


6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring?
   
   • I realized that not only could I no longer name all 151 Pokemon (and their evolutionary stages) off the top of my head, there were apparently all these *new* monsters and the TV show had gone to... oh, you mean the *pairing*? Same reasons, I think.


7. Which ship do you prefer--#2 or #4?
   
   • #2, because I’m a sucker for hopeless causes.


8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12.
   
   • I hate to harsh on anyone else’s squee, but if I had to toss one I’d definitely go with Cloud/Tifa – the idea of them together romantically, even post-movie, DOES NOT WORK – they’ve managed to carve out a kind of family, yes, but they are NOT compatible romantically/mentally/chemically, and, just. No.


9. What interests you about #14?
   
   • Dumb girls on the run from a mysterious organization through what is possibly South America, complete with wacky hijinks and believable character growth? If the ending does not suck we will keep this one, yes.


10. When did you stop liking #7?
    
    • Just kind of drifted away from this one, I think.


11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series?
    
    • Au contraire – it saved my interest in the series (despite certain events of which we will not speak). Once I stopped trying to force the romance (and, really, looking back I don’t know what I was thinking), I was better able to appreciate Light in all his crazy, crazy glory.


12. What's a song that reminds you of #5?
    
    • ... I have no idea (although I see a raid of my playlists in the not so distant future), but I imagine it would be something incredibly kickass/dorky.


13. Which of these ships do you love the most right now?
    
    • Akira/Hikaru, apparently – there’re the ones I keep buying shiny presents for.


14. Which do you dislike the most?
    
    • Cloud/Tifa – they’re the pairing that I just can’t see working, ever, and not just because I’d rather see them with other people.


15. If you could have any of these pairings double date, who would they be?
    
    • I’m not entirely sure I want any of these people in the same room, but we’ll go with Doumeki/Watanuki and Renji/Rukia because I have the sneaking suspicion it would be *hysterical*.


16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if yes.
    
    • No.


17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely?
    
    • Yes, CAN'T TELL ME OTHERWISE.


18. What would make you start shipping #14?
    
    • Didn’t I just answer this? We’ll do it for 13, instead ~ I’ve got to read more of the manga before I make up my mind – I really like the dorky, devoted dynamic they’ve got going on right now, we’ll have to see where it goes.


19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer--#2 or #6?
    
    • If I could go back in time and drug/blackmail the creators? #6 – I think it would (ignoring the intended audience, canon, etc) work well inside the story.


20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them?
    
    • Tamaki and Haruhi continue to be AWESOME, because they are – Tamaki eventually settles into an older (hah) brother type role and is just as crazy without the confused romantic undertones (I sense a theme, here) and starts dating Kyoya (because they deserve each other) – Haruhi puts up with it, because that’s one way to show she cares, and ends up dating Mori/Hikaru/Whoever the hell she wants.
