effex: Why? (Why?)

So, Delicious

In case you've missed it, Delicious' new owners took it for a test spin (or something, idk wtf is going on) and broke the hell out of it. The exporter still works, so I've pulled my bookmarks from the rubble and fled to higher ground (how many metaphors can I fit into this paragraph?).

So. So. Anyone else using Pinboard?

I kind of dig it that we both used the same title for this post (basically).

I'd already been following you (and I've recently opted in to letting others see when I follow them). :D

It's pretty cool. I'm fairly sure it was coded in recently (or made available recently), since I don't remember seeing it when I last looked, in December.

I'd say insert a line at the top and put in your info there. Have you added yourself to the username mapper?

I uploaded most of my stuff to Diigo during the kerfluffle earlier this year, but there's about 200 links I think I'm going to have to move over manually. I'm afraid if I try the exporter it's going to duplicate all of the previously uploaded links.

It shouldn't duplicate them, but they have a bug where all your saved links are marked as "saved at time of export".
There's a Ruby script for that though.

I was going to let Diigo run besides Pinboard, but ever since I found out that any "non-family friendly" bookmark is automatically private - yeah, no.
