My year so far has gone Frantic Prep for Tradeshow #1 -> surprise!flu -> Tradeshow #1 -> Frantic Prep for Tradeshow #2 -> SUPERSTORM 2011 -> More Frantic Prep. With bonus dog bites*, interpersonal drama, and Superbowl invasions for flavor. Everyone leaves for Tradeshow #2 today, just in time to avoid SON OF SUPERSTORM 2011. Which I assume will be shutting down the city Wednesday and Thursday, because that's how Big D rolls.

It's only been five weeks. Is the rest of the year going to be like this?

On the plus side, [personal profile] nepenthe and I are going to Comic-Con in July! It's going to be awesome.

I went looking digging through my archives for a post on Comic-Con 2006 and it turns out I posted once that year. 2007's a little better with 29 posts, but nothing compared to my current rate of 15-20 posts a month. I basically lurked for years**.

And now a couple days without content*** makes me twitchy. Who knew?

* Sister's got full mobility back in her hand, yay! The scarring's pretty intense, though.

** I got my LJ in the March of '05.

*** I should start formatting that linkspam.

I don't know either, 2011 so far has been hectic and rushed and generally fast-paced.

COMIC-CON! So much envy. ^^

Wow, the LJ inventory is a scary thing. I've had mine since December 2003. 2003 had one entry, then lots of entries for 2004-2007, and I guess for 2008-2010 as well, but I fell off the radar for a couple of months for each of those years. Let's call it The Event of Twitter.

* Full mobility = awesome!

*** Wheee linkspam! :D

*is annoyed* I thought you said your sister's hand was fine. "got full mobility back in her hand" does not sound like fine, nor does "intense" or "scarring".
