Ranch Picspam
I've got a major project to wrap up this week and won't be online much (not that [cough] I do most of my internet-ing at work or anything...). Internet readalongs, etc, will resume on the 12th.
Before I go, have some photos of cats and donkeys! All taken Sunday at my parent's ranch.
From left to right: Richie, Dude, Tia Rose and Roberta.
I've got a dozen photos like this - donkey noses, cat noses, horse noses, goat noses. They were all Very Interested in what I was doing.
Donkey hugs are the best. I don't know if this holds true for all donkeys, but our crew is very affectionate. Very.
In the back pasture, from left to right: Lance, Misty, Echo and Pipsqueak (these are their barn names, not their ~show names~). Everybody's got their winter fuzz on (regular sized horses stay sleek year-round, but these guys have a lot of pony in 'em).
My sister will hurt me if she ever finds out I posted a photo of Misty with goobers in her eyes, but it's too awesome not to.
Front pasture: Rufus and Ray.
Ray's kinda an asshole (that's not a friendly nuzzle; he's pulling on Dickie's whiskers).
Which is why the otherwise lovely Dickie (who's actually a pony, btw - the rest are all miniature horses) has a bald spot on his face.
Romo! Named after Tony Romo (I had nothing to do with it) and shares his athletic ability, but otherwise they are nothing alike.
She's very photogenic.
Cecil.
