2) It's like, I *know* cops get intense about their partners, it's a really strong relationship and not necessarily sexual/romantic, etc. But sometimes it edges over into actually romantic (I'd love to see the stats on this) and the face Esposito made? There's no just-partners explanation for it. I wonder what his actor was thinking...

3) We still don't know much about her, really. She's only showed up this episode, pwned the Doctor on a number of levels (operation of the TARDIS, pet names, bossing around), and hinted at a not-what-she-seems background. I suspect she's a con of some sort, definitely a criminal, but in a sexy~exciting way and not a this-has-fucked-me-up way.
