Vacation, Day 2
Today, I:
* Walked a mile. Forgot to take allergy meds before hand, so it was lovely but slightly painful.
* Did 5 loads of wash (with one more to go). We don't have a washer/dryer in the apartment, so this involved many stairs.
* Called around to secure references, applied to another job. That makes 6, or 1/4 of what I set myself for the week. Arg.
* Watched episodes 3 & 4 of Terra Nova, decided to drop it. Awesome ladies don't make up for Conservative + unoriginal worldbuilding (although I did like the 'you sound like a lawyer' / ~'there aren't any lawyers here, fancy that' exchange), heteronormativity, and boring.
* Made two pots of soup - tomato & sweet potato, from scratch - and froze them in single serving baggies. Also made strawberry popsicles! Turkey meatballs are next, but I have to run to the store for eggs.
* Did all the dishes, some of them multiple times (see above).
* Realized I didn't actually want soup and ordered a pizza with chicken in. Added chopped apple once it got here, super tasty.
* Wrote 800 words of Teen Wolf/Sanctuary fanfic (I KNOW).
So no matter how much my brain self censures, I did get things done today.
Tomorrow I tackle the DMV!
